Our practice and community is eternally grateful to Dr. Sean McCagh for his dedication to the health and wellness of our mountain town. He was a cherished husband, father, doctor and a friend to all who crossed his path.

In addition to saving lives through early diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer, Dr. McCagh spearheaded a local annual event called the Hooley Plunge. In almost two decades, the Hooley Plunge has raised over 1 million dollars for the Special Olympics and other resources for persons with disabilities. It is one of the most anticipated fundraisers in Allegany County each year.

At Western Maryland Dermatology, we promise to continue his good work and honor his legacy by providing compassionate and knowledgeable medical care to every patient who enters our practice. His big heart and zest for life will remain a part of our mission every day.
